Bánh chưng (Vietnamese Tết square sticky rice cake)

♥ Ingredients:
(Makes 4 4-inch square sticky rice cake)

3 cups (600 g) glutinous rice
1 cup (210 g) split mung beans
14 oz (400 g) skinless pork belly (ideally high fat)
½ tbsp fish sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
4 tsp salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
4 shallots, peeled
2 packages frozen banana leaves, thawed
4 8-foot cooking twines

♥ Nguyên liệu:
(4 cái bánh khoảng 10 cm)

3 cups (600 g) gạo nếp
1 cup (210 g) đậu xanh không vỏ
14 oz (400 g) thịt ba rọi, nhiều mỡ
½ tbsp muỗng canh nước mắm
1 tbsp muỗng canh đường vàng
4 tsp muỗng cà phê muối
1 tsp muỗng cà phê tiêu xay
4 củ hành ta, lột vỏ
2 gói lá chuối đông lạnh
4 sợi dây dài khoảng 2 mét rưỡi
